About The Position

One You Love Homecare is a growing senior homecare provider dedicated to improving seniors' quality of life. The North, South, and West Houston branches emphasize compassionate care, independence, and community engagement. The organization seeks dedicated professionals who share its mission and values and can provide exceptional service while building meaningful relationships with seniors and their families. Ideal candidates have at least one year of caregiving experience, excellent communication skills, personal care experience with seniors, and a heart for working with seniors. Caregivers provide routine care according to each client's Plan of Care and the caregiver's demonstrated competency and assignment by the Administrator. Duties may include housekeeping, social engagement, approved transportation, medication reminders, meal assistance, and task documentation in WellSky. Professionalism, timely clock-in and clock-out, clear communication, and reporting concerns for escalation are emphasized.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience.
Excellent communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Personal care experience with seniors and a heart for working with seniors.
State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide daily routine care based on the Plan of Care, with assignments determined by demonstrated competency.
Clean and perform housekeeping, including client rooms, laundry, and bathrooms.
Engage clients in conversation and activities for socialization.
Transport clients to appointments and outings when mutually approved by the caregiver and agency.
Observe all Universal Precautions.
Provide medication reminders and assist with meal preparation and clean-up.
Document all tasks in WellSky.
Clock in and out on time, communicate clearly with clients and management, and report concerns that need escalation.
