About The Position

One You Love Homecare is a growing senior homecare provider focused on improving seniors' quality of life. Its North, South, and West Houston branches emphasize compassionate care, independence, community engagement, and meaningful relationships with seniors and their families. The organization seeks dedicated professionals who share its mission and values. The Bilingual Caregiver provides routine care according to each client's Plan of Care, with assignments based on demonstrated competency and Administrator direction. Duties may include personal care, housekeeping, social engagement, approved transportation, medication reminders, meal assistance, and task documentation. Caregivers are expected to follow Universal Precautions, communicate professionally with clients and management, clock in and out on time, and report concerns requiring escalation.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience.
High school diploma or GED.
State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Personal care experience with seniors and a genuine interest in working with seniors.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide daily routine care according to the Plan of Care and assigned competency level.
Clean and maintain client rooms and bathrooms, and do laundry.
Engage clients in conversation and activities to support socialization.
Transport clients to appointments and outings when mutually approved by the caregiver and agency.
Observe all Universal Precautions.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with meal preparation and cleanup.
Document all tasks in WellSky.
Clock in and out on time and communicate clearly with clients and management.
Report concerns that need escalation.
