About The Position

Vervent is hiring a full-time Bilingual Call Center Agent to contact borrowers and collect on accounts across its portfolios while providing a high-quality customer service experience. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish and at least six months of collection or customer service experience in a call center. The position is onsite at Vervent’s Sioux Falls, South Dakota location, with multiple schedules offered. Pay is $19.50–$21.50 per hour, with the opportunity to earn monthly incentives.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Six months of collection or customer service experience in a call center environment.
Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle diverse duties and changing processes and deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in teams.

Nice To Haves

Intermediate or greater knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office programs, and various Internet browsers.

Responsibilities

Meet and surpass key performance indicators specified by Management.
Provide an exceptional customer experience across all communication channels.
Learn and adhere to guidelines specific to each portfolio.
Advise borrowers of available options specific to their portfolio, such as forbearance, modified payment plans, and deferments.
Follow up on assigned tasks as needed.
Process transactions and communications accurately.
Protect consumer data in all communications.
Maintain borrower, collateral, and status information on accounts, following department standards for account maintenance and documentation.
Promote good working relations with internal and external teams.
Perform other tasks and special projects as requested by Call Center Management.
