About The Position

Nxt Property Management is actively seeking an experienced and driven Bilingual Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is fluent in both English and Spanish, has prior assistant property management experience, and is ready to make a meaningful impact. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to help achieve the financial and operational goals of the community while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Previous Assistant Property Manager experience
  • Experience managing delinquency and collections
  • Yardi Property Management Software experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Positive attitude with a growth mindset

Nice To Haves

  • 12+ months of multifamily property management experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
  • Sales and leasing background
  • Budgeting and financial reporting experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily property management operations
  • Support leasing efforts by following up on leads and conducting tours
  • Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking residents
  • Manage resident files, invoices, and administrative processes
  • Handle delinquency collections and payment follow-up
  • Coordinate resident work orders and customer service requests
  • Assist with staff support and office management
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
  • Help maintain occupancy, resident retention, and financial performance goals
