About The Position
The Bike & Pedestrian Safety Coordinator will engage statewide partners to represent the hospital’s injury prevention expertise and efforts throughout Oklahoma. This position will serve our community by implementing educational programs and events throughout the state to improve the health and safety of children in Oklahoma.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Possessing a valid driver’s license
- Being at least 25 years of age
- Having no significant driving violations within the past five years
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience with educational programs in a public setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support Oklahoma Highway Safety Office (OHSO) initiatives, ensuring Bike and Pedestrian Safety Program activities are effectively implemented and all program milestones and objectives are achieved.
- Assist with management of the SKO Partner Pathway Program, including communication, resource distribution, tracking participation, and supporting development.
- Maintain program records, assist with grant reporting, track data and evaluation efforts.
- Stay current with technical information and issues related to pediatric injury prevention.
- Other duties as assigned.
