Big Box Removal Associate
About The Position
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Removal Associate works on the Big Box Removal Team, which helps customers find and remove larger items, and provides winning bidders with exemplary service. This position reports to the Big Box Removal Team Lead. The role is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt. It is an on-site position scheduled Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 12:00 PM–8:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Shifts are eight hours with a 30-minute lunch break.
Requirements
- Available to work on-site Monday through Friday on the specified schedule.
- Able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds or more with a team lift.
- Able to follow written directions and company policies.
- Highly organized.
- Detail-oriented.
- Customer-focused.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Know how auction items are categorized.
- Assist customers in finding their items.
- Help customers feel glad they won an item and encourage them to continue bidding.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
