About The Position

Coordinates the MCL proposal process through its entire lifecycle, from initiation to handoff to the customer and gathering metrics. This role involves planning and coordinating deliverables and responsibilities across all MCL team members. The specialist will work with internal teams to maintain bid metrics, which supply multiple data repositories and are presented to leadership monthly. They will create and facilitate client-facing communications and materials within a cross-functional team to support securing and maintaining MCL business relationships. The position is responsible for facilitating projects and ensuring the quality of MCL bids, RFPs, and other marketing tools/communications. Additionally, the specialist will manage the delivery, file retention, and organization of key documents related to successful operations in U.S. and international territories. Collaboration with multiple teams for continuous process improvement is expected to advance MCL’s business and value propositions. The role ensures continuity between MCL marketing, contracting, pricing, and field staff to provide an integrated client-facing proposal. Project updates and information will be communicated to all project team members using multiple channels. In support of the third-party billing committee, financial data will be prepared for committee review and analysis. The specialist must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and facilitate competing objectives while communicating information clearly and unambiguously to internal teams, field staff, and leadership. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F1 STEM OPT extension program. A 2-year commitment to the role is required. Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 3 years business or education related experience OR Bachelor's degree and 1 year of business or education related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience, especially in a fast-paced environment, is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including the ability to manage, manipulate, and formulate various spreadsheets, data, graphs, and pivot tables
  • Strong working knowledge of software applications (e.g. MS Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and similar tools)
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM Database (Client Relationship Management)
  • Strong working knowledge of Online communications platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and similar tools)
  • Preferred candidate will reside in Minnesota
