About The Position

National Food Group is seeking a detail-oriented Bid Coordinator to join our Purchasing team. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between Purchasing, Sales, and vendor partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant bid submissions. You will play a key role in managing government and large contract bids, coordinating information across departments, and supporting the company’s success in competitive bid opportunities.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF tools).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the full bid process, from receiving bid requests to final submission.
Serve as a liaison between Purchasing, Sales bid coordinators, and vendors to ensure all pricing, product, and compliance information is accurate and complete.
Gather vendor quotes, product specifications, and other required documentation to support bid submissions.
Review bid documents and requirements for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
Maintain organized records of bid activity, timelines, and submission requirements.
Proactively communicate deadlines and deliverables to internal stakeholders.
Prepare and submit formal bid responses, ensuring compliance with all specifications and regulations.
Assist Purchasing and Sales teams with product recommendations based on bid requirements.
Conduct research on vendors, pricing, and market conditions to support bid strategies.
