Our San Diego Area is looking for a Bid Coordinator with stellar administrative skills and a passion for helping to drive a team to success. The Bid Coordinator will assist our Estimators in procuring bid documents, potential subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing bid deliveries.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail.
Exceptional organization skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to work well in a team.
Reliable access to a vehicle and ability to drive to various locations as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience performing administrative tasks is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain the weekly bid schedule.
Procure bid documents.
Coordinate bid runners and bid closings.
Maintain the BidMail.
Contract subcontractors and suppliers to make them aware of the projects.
Meet with the various Estimators to determine what the bid requirements are for individual projects.
Distribute plans and specifications to the sub-districts, subcontractors and material suppliers.
Start and maintain the "Good Faith Effort" if required.
Coordinate pre-bid meeting attendees.
