The BHT Team Lead is responsible for monitoring the safety, sobriety, and transportation of clients who are in various levels of treatment for mental health. This role involves assisting with activity coordination, serving as a resource for other BHTs, and managing the daily schedule of clients to ensure they attend all treatments and activities punctually. The Team Lead will transport clients to and from the treatment facility in a company vehicle, adhering to driving guidelines. They will collaborate with clinical staff to implement treatment plan goals and specific behavioral interventions, fostering a supportive and accountable environment. Key duties include monitoring clients, recording observations, responding to client needs including crisis intervention, and monitoring for intoxication or drug use. The role also involves administering urine analysis and breathalyzer tests, conducting client searches at intake, assisting with intake paperwork, and maintaining company keys. Additionally, the Team Lead will direct clients to group sessions or appointments, build relationships with clients, model healthy communication, and manage conflicts impartially. A professional demeanor and appropriate boundaries with clients are expected. The position requires reporting to a Direct Supervisor and conducting housing audits for cleanliness and supplies.
