The Carruth Center for Psychological and Psychiatric Services at West Virginia University is currently seeking applications for a Behavioral Health Therapist / Substance Use Disorder Specialist. The primary role of the Substance Use Disorder Specialist is to provide substance use clinical services including but not limited to assessment, treatment planning, short-term counseling, group counseling, psychoeducation, and case management. The Substance Use Disorder Specialist will provide mental health and substance use counseling for students with co-occurring needs and may provide substance use and or other broader assessment and treatment to students mandated by the CARE team, Residence Life, the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, the Athletic Department, or the Dean of Students as well as students whom are self-referred.
