About The Position

The Partners Group (TPG) is seeking an early-career, detail-oriented professional to join their Employee Benefits team in Renton, Washington, as a Benefits Service Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who possesses curiosity, strong organizational skills, and a genuine interest in building relationships. The position offers hands-on training through the TPG IGNITE Program, providing in-house training, exposure to different business units, time with senior leadership, and mentoring. The role involves supporting the delivery of employee benefits solutions for clients by collaborating with Account Managers and service teams. Responsibilities include coordinating renewals, preparing proposals, supporting client communications, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role serves as a foundation for growth, offering exposure to the employee benefits lifecycle and the opportunity to develop industry expertise. The position is designed to prepare individuals for potential career paths in Sales or Client Service, with the possibility of becoming a Benefits Account Manager who solves problems by building custom insurance strategies and nurturing client relationships.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional or internship experience, with at least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain a Life & Health license within 90 days of hire, with support provided as part of onboarding.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Prior experience in insurance, employee benefits, HR, or administrative support.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Involvement in leadership roles, student organizations, or community initiatives.
  • Demonstrated accountability and ability to follow through on multiple requests independently.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate renewal processes by requesting carrier quotes, tracking timelines, and preparing supporting materials.
  • Prepare proposals, market surveys, and client-facing deliverables that support benefits recommendations.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams to address service requests and resolve issues.
  • Support open enrollment efforts by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and assisting with communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates within internal systems to reflect client plan changes and decisions.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and contribute to ongoing reporting and administrative projects.
