You will guide an agile team, manage robust vendor partnerships, and leverage data and technology to design competitive, compliant health and wellness programs that support our diverse workforce. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration, including deep exposure to strategic plan design, compliance, and vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits regulations, with the proven analytical skills needed to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in benefits management, such as a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.
  • Previous experience managing benefits programs within Canada or across a large, complex, multi-state corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the end-to-end benefits strategy for the US and Canada, including medical, dental, vision, family, and financial wellbeing programs.
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and HRIS teams to optimize plan performance, manage budgets, and lead annual renewal processes with external brokers and carriers.
  • Design and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications and education campaigns to drive financial and benefits literacy across the organization.
  • Ensure strict regulatory compliance with applicable US and Canadian requirements, overseeing crucial plan documentation and required federal, state, and local filings.
  • Leverage digital tools, technology integrations, and data analytics to optimize plan efficiency, track utilization trends, and enhance the overall personalization of the benefits function.
