Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Payroll, the Payroll Specialist is a critical position within the organization, serving a workforce of over 1,100 employees in the US. This position is responsible for processing and reviewing semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll and for ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements. The Payroll Specialist provides subject matter expertise regarding all payroll processes and procedures. This position focuses on the administration of payroll processes, and procedures, as well as assisting other departments. The position serves as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns with respect to payroll issues. The position requires that the employee possess full cycle payroll experience with Dayforce (Ceridian) and can multitask and work independently. Integrity, strong attention to detail, and time management are crucial for this role.
