About The Position

Educate and consult with individual health insurance consumers to help them understand available coverage options. Assist customers through the enrollment process with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. Deliver proactive follow-up and ongoing support to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Build strong relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders, including employees, client decision makers, insurance carriers, and brokers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in internal systems and CRM platforms. Contribute to Milliman’s service model by delivering a consistent, high quality customer experience. Use customer interactions and feedback to support retention strategies and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED is required for this position, and education will be verified upon an accepted offer of employment
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional listening ability
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and customer interactions
  • Strong technical aptitude, including comfort using CRM systems and other technology platforms
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive, with a positive, “can do” attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Passion for helping customers achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman now or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Health insurance industry experience in employee benefits and/or personal insurance strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Success, Customer Advocacy, Relationship Management, Account Management, or a similar customer-facing role preferred
  • Current Life & Health insurance license, or the ability to obtain one within a short timeframe
