The mission of the Latin American Association (LAA) is to empower our community to adapt, integrate, and thrive. Our vision is Opportunity for All. Founded in 1972, the LAA is Georgia's leading nonprofit serving Latino individuals and families. For more than 50 years, we have helped remove barriers to economic mobility by providing culturally responsive, fully bilingual programs and services that empower our community to build brighter futures. Each year, the LAA serves nearly 44,000 individuals through programs focused on Family Well-Being, Economic Empowerment, Immigration Legal Services, Youth Education, and Adult Education and English Language Services. Join our team and become part of an organization dedicated to creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and making a lasting impact across Georgia. The goal of the Family Well-Being Department is to stabilize Latino individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to prevent housing loss and further self-sufficiency. The Benefits Enrollment Specialist/WIC Navigator will work as a member of the Family Well-Being Department to support the Public Benefits initiatives with eligibility screening, back-end support and enrollment support for public benefit programs (SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, WIC, CAPS) as well as opportunities to advocate for clients. As a Navigator with this department, you will have an opportunity to gain a full understanding of the needs affecting metro Atlanta’s Latino population.
