About The Position

They are looking for a Benefits Coordinator to join their Corporate Benefits team. As part of a fast-paced, dynamic team, the Benefits Coordinator will support the Benefits division. Previous benefits experience and strong organizational skills will ensure success in this dynamic role. Requirements

  • Self-starter, creative problem-solving skills and learning ability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with both internal and external customers, representatives, and government agencies
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn additional systems used by our benefits division
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day, excellent time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with benefits administration in a multi-site company, preferred
  • Prior experience processing medical enrollments and changes, preferred
  • Knowledge of using employee self-service portals, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer 401k plan including weekly monitoring of loan and weekly reconciliation of contributions
  • Review and monitor ACA compliance with vendor
  • Review and monitor HSA accounts
  • Assist with COBRA administration, including qualifying event notices, election tracking, and coordination with the third-party administrator
  • Support monthly carrier invoice reconciliation, including auditing enrollment discrepancies and resolving billing errors with carriers and payroll
  • Participate in the annual open enrollment process
  • Complete verification requests for HIPP, child support, Medicare etc.
  • Utilize HRIS System to run benefit reports and audit benefit data
  • Daily monitoring, processing and closing of benefit life events
  • Participate in preparation of coworker communications mailings
  • Assist HR and coworkers with questions and issues
  • Assist with processing enrollments, changes, terminations of benefits utilizing HRIS system; Review and resolve error reports from vendors as needed
