About The Position

This position supports the benefits administration in support of the Bank's overall benefits strategy. This role is based in Raleigh, NC and will come in the office 3-4 days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Health & Welfare and/or retirement benefit programs (defined contribution and defined benefit) OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Health & Welfare and/or retirement benefit programs (defined contribution and defined benefit)

Nice To Haves

  • Administration of benefits programs for a large employer
  • Industry specific certification(s) Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Promotes health and wellness in the workplace through administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Supports open enrollment and partners with key stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of benefits.
  • Responds to inquiries concerning benefit programs and policies.
  • Partners with third-party administrators to escalate issues and facilitate resolution.
  • Assists in efforts to ensure benefit programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Works with the benefits group to maintain compliance schedules, complete regulatory reporting, and assists with plan audits.
