About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom pieces according to their skills. They deliver a customer-first experience focused on exceeding expectations for custom jewelry design and repair. The company offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset, experience, and qualifications. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime; hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service-minded approach and high standards for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends, and seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Knowledge or skill in stone setting, sizing, polishing, jewelry repair, and the listed administrative and bench jewelry skills.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Create custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry designs and pieces, depending on skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform applicable bench jewelry work, such as chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work.
