About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skillset. The role emphasizes delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and opportunities to develop skills and advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflects the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

Requirements

• One to three years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Availability for seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Repair jewelry, including chains, clasps, prongs, stones, rings, and other jewelry.
• Set stones and create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Carve wax, fabricate, and cast jewelry.
• Design and create custom pieces, including CAD/CAM design work.
• Restore jewelry to its original condition and deliver a customer-first experience.
