About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind pieces depending on their skillset. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience and high-quality custom jewelry design and repair. Signet offers Jeweler training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• One to three years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trade experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required for full-time employees.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Repair chains and clasps.
• Re-tip prongs.
• Set stones.
• Create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs.
• Carve wax.
• Fabricate jewelry.
• Perform casting.
• Design and create custom pieces.
• Perform CAD/CAM design work.
• Restore jewelry and provide custom jewelry design and repair services to meet customer expectations.
