About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on current skills, team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and design and create custom pieces. The team is focused on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continued learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay reflects the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

Requirements

• One to three years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test assessing current jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Seasonal overtime is required for full-time roles.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and beauty.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work where applicable.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
