About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. The team is focused on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflects the Jeweler’s skillset and experience; the stated base-pay range is $17.00–$28.70, with the final rate based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test assessing current Jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
Experience with chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, stone mounting, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

Repair jewelry, including chain and clasp repairs, minor ring repairs, and other jewelry repairs.
Re-tip prongs and set stones.
Create stone mountings.
Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Carve wax, fabricate, and cast jewelry.
Design and create custom jewelry pieces.
Perform CAD/CAM design work.
Deliver customer-first service and quality work.
