About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center teams. Depending on current skills, Team Members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry. The team is dedicated to providing a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers Jeweler training programs and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and based on the Jeweler’s skillset, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current Jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Seasonal required overtime for the stated 40-hour full-time work week.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
High school degree or equivalent.
Experience with chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design, or CAD/CAM design.

Responsibilities

Repair jewelry, including chains, clasps, rings, and other pieces.
Re-tip prongs and set stones.
Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work where applicable.
Restore jewelry to its original condition and support custom jewelry design and repair services.
