About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team in Tampa, Florida. The role involves restoring jewelry, completing repairs, and, depending on skill level, designing and creating custom jewelry. Team members deliver customer-first service and quality work. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from an entry-level jeweler to an experienced artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the candidate’s current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry and complete jewelry repairs.
Depending on skillset, design and create custom jewelry.
Deliver customer-first service and work that meets customers’ expectations for jewelry design and repairs.
Perform relevant bench jewelry tasks, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
