About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. They are expected to deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. The company offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry according to current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Depending on skillset, perform tasks such as chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
