About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Central Valley, New York. The position involves restoring jewelry, completing repairs, and potentially designing and creating custom jewelry according to the team member’s skillset. Team members deliver customer-first service and are supported by jeweler training and ongoing learning, with opportunities to advance in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• Jeweler experience ranging from entry-level to master-level.

Responsibilities

• Repair jewelry, including chains, clasps, rings, and other items.
• Re-tip prongs and set stones.
• Create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Carve wax, fabricate, and cast jewelry.
• Design and create custom pieces, including CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver customer-first service and quality custom jewelry design and repair.
