About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at Fountains at Farah in El Paso, Texas. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind pieces depending on their skillset. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflective of the jeweler’s current skills and experience.

The position is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours that may include some nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• One to three years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry and perform repairs to meet quality standards.
• Provide customer-focused service for custom jewelry design and repairs.
• Perform relevant bench-jeweler work based on current skillset, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
