About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry according to their skills. The role emphasizes delivering a customer-first experience and exceeding customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

Requirements

Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Be customer-service minded and maintain a high standard for quality work.
Have basic computer skills.
Be available for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Work seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and beauty.
Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work as applicable.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
