About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind pieces according to their skills. They are expected to deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. The company offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to progress from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The role is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime; hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• Skills in wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring and other jewelry repairs, depending on skillset.
• Create custom jewelry designs and pieces, depending on skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
• Complete a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
