About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry depending on their skills. They deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers jeweler training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The position is based at the Bell Tower Shops in Ft. Myers, Florida. Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with varying hours that may include some nights and weekends, as well as seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required for full-time employees.

Nice To Haves

Experience with wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs, potentially including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring repair.
Design and create custom jewelry, depending on current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repair.
