About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at the Uptown Altamonte location in Orlando, Florida. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and, depending on their skillset, design and create custom jewelry. The role is focused on delivering a customer-first experience and high-quality work. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to progress from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skills and experience.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Ability to work seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Experience or knowledge in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Perform chain and clasp repairs.
Re-tip prongs and set stones.
Create stone mountings.
Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Perform minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs.
Carry out wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work as applicable.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
