About The Position

Copper Mountain Resort is seeking a Bellperson for the Winter 2026/2027 season. This role involves assisting lodging guests with their luggage, fulfilling group porterage requests, and providing accurate resort information. The Bellperson will also support the front desk and other departments with deliveries and room moves. The ideal candidate is personable, guest service-focused, and has prior guest service experience. Custodial duties are also part of the role, including maintaining the lobby area, shoveling snow, and taking out trash.

Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Able to stand eight hours a day.
  • Willing to work in adverse weather conditions, including rain, ice, and snow.
  • Must be 23 years or older for insurance coverage.
  • Must have a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted.
  • May require the use of a motor vehicle and compliance with Driver’s Standards.
  • High School or equivalent required.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in the English language.
  • Must be able to handle stress and maintain professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years’ in a guest service position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests at the Lodging Reception Center and directs them to check-in.
  • Answers guest questions about the resort.
  • Assists guests with luggage and provides resort information during transport to the room.
  • Explains room and building amenities.
  • Explains emergency procedures as needed.
  • Delivers amenities, packages, and messages to rooms.
  • Maintains Lodging vehicles to Copper Mountain standards.
  • Maintains a neat and organized bell stand area and lobby/entryway.
  • Works with airlines and transportation companies for luggage issues.
  • Works with shipping companies (FedEx, UPS) to track packages and arrange shipments.
  • Maintains overall knowledge of the resort, hours of operation, food suggestions, and special events.
  • Acts as Night Houseman when needed.
  • Staffs the bell desk as a dispatcher, organizing deliveries and answering phone calls.
  • Assists other departments with deliveries, including heavy objects.
  • Performs other job-related duties such as trash and recycle removal, shoveling snow, and operating a snow blower.
  • Completes the daily bellperson checklist.
  • Provides world-class guest service in conjunction with all duties.
  • Functions as an ambassador of Copper Mountain, modeling and sharing the Copper "culture".
  • Upholds a professional image.
  • Strives to exceed guest expectations and create memories.
