About The Position

The Bellman works onsite at The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, providing prompt, courteous guest service. Responsibilities include assisting guests with arrivals, departures, luggage, and vehicles; valet parking; driving the guest shuttle throughout Kohler Campus; and making deliveries requested by guests or hotel staff. The role also involves determining the most efficient way to deliver luggage to guest rooms, maintaining knowledge of hotel facilities, operating hours, daily activities, and area attractions, and keeping work areas, common rooms, and storage closets clean. This is a part-time position with weekday and weekend shifts that vary between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. A $250 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Weekend availability is required.
Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
U.S.-based team members must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment; individuals with qualifying medical conditions or sincerely held religious beliefs may request an exemption.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with prompt, courteous service that exceeds their expectations.
Assist guests with arrivals, departures, luggage, and vehicles.
Valet park vehicles.
Drive the guest shuttle throughout Kohler Campus.
Identify guests and their room numbers and determine efficient procedures for bringing luggage to their rooms.
Maintain working knowledge of in-house facilities, hours of operation, daily activities, and area attractions.
Make miscellaneous deliveries requested by guests or hotel staff.
Maintain a clean work area, including common rooms and storage closets.
