About The Position

As a member of our Uniformed Services team, you’ll create a warm, seamless, and personalized arrival and departure experience for our guests. You’ll assist with luggage, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their stay.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a high-touch, guest-focused role, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • A polished, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.
  • The ability to anticipate guest needs, exercise good judgment, and create positive guest experiences.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional language skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly, safely, and courteously transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms. Secure, tag, and store luggage at the guest’s request.
  • Escort arriving guests to their guest rooms and provide a personalized orientation, including an overview of room features, in-room amenities, hotel services, and other relevant information to ensure they are comfortable and familiar with their accommodations.
  • Welcome and assist guests while providing knowledgeable information about hotel amenities, facilities, outlets, services, local attractions, and activities.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and discretion, using sound judgment and taking ownership of resolving issues whenever possible.
  • When assigned as a Door Attendant, remain stationed at the hotel entrance to welcome arriving guests and assist departing guests with luggage, including loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
  • Escalate significant concerns, complaints, disturbances, or instances involving dissatisfied guests to management promptly.
  • Promote teamwork and consistently deliver exceptional service through effective communication and coordination with other hotel departments.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-presented hotel entrance and surrounding areas by regularly inspecting for and removing litter and debris.
  • Perform additional duties and respond to special requests as assigned, including but not limited to: Accepting and securely storing guest dry cleaning for pickup by the dry-cleaning service, Delivering clean laundry, guest mail and messages, and sundry items to guest rooms, Delivering boxes and packages at the direction of hotel guests or clients, Assisting with other guest requests and special services as needed.
