About The Position

The Bell Ambassador Supervisor is responsible for leading the Bell Ambassador staff members, ensuring the workers are properly trained and always conducting themselves in a professional manner. This includes assigning outside valet shifts, monitoring performance and providing guidance through challenging situations. Candidates are the eyes and ears outside, ensuring safety of guests as well as associates. As an Ivy Hotel Bell Ambassador Supervisor you are responsible for the welcome, welfare and safety of all hotel guests, visitors, VIPs, and staff. You maintain the highest level of security for physical property - such as buildings, vehicles, luggage, and so on - to protect from theft or damage. The Bell Ambassador Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the House vehicle is well maintained including monitoring gas levels, cleaning and maintenance. Ensuring all licensing is up to date. As a member of the management team and a representative of the property, the Bell Ambassador Supervisor must be ready and willing to provide superior customer service at all times. Not only does it relate to guest inquiries, but also to any other guest questions and concerns that may arise. One must know the details of the property intimately, in addition to having extensive knowledge of the surrounding area. Guests may ask questions on things such as restaurant recommendations and nearby shopping, and one should be prepared to answer them. You’ll be the first staff member a visitor meets, and the last one they’ll say goodbye to when they depart. Does a guest feel warmly welcomed upon arrival, and leave feeling like royalty? Then you have succeeded.

Requirements

  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to stand outside for 8+ hours in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to run, kneel and/or bend at the waist
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a bell ambassador

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related discipline
  • Hospitality experience
  • Outgoing personality and a motivated attitude
