About The Position

Join a mission-driven behavioral health team dedicated to helping children and adolescents build the skills they need to thrive. As a Behavioral Health Day Treatment Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering structured therapeutic programming, supporting individualized behavior plans, and fostering meaningful progress in a day treatment setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Psychology, Child Development, or Special Education
• One-year experience working with children in a mental health setting.
• Valid applicable state driver's license.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and arranges the active implementation of the clients individualized behavior plans.
• Plans and leads therapeutic group and individual sessions.
• Documents client progress in relation to goals on a daily basis.
• Conducts necessary assessments to support admission and note treatment progress.
• Participates in community observations to assessment placement criteria.
• Assists in the transition to a school setting.
• Participates in performance/quality assurance monitoring activities.
• Participates in weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings to review client progress.
• Participates in community integration outings.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
