The State of Ohio is seeking a Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 to oversee facility behavioral healthcare functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a solid background and a passion to habilitate youth. This role involves providing social work services, including assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and/or family interventions, crisis intervention, liaison services, and discharge planning to assigned youth offenders. The position also requires participation in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDT), establishing working relationships with external agencies, contacting parents/guardians, and maintaining documentation to meet federal, state, and agency requirements. All final candidates must attend a mandatory, paid 3-week training at the Correctional Training Academy in Orient, Ohio, which covers lodging, transportation, and meals. Training hours are Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
