Behavioral Health Technician-Evening and Overnight Shift
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers dedicated to setting new standards in addiction treatment through an unrivaled, evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care. The company offers programs spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. This role is for a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) who will manage daily residential operations, train and support the BHT team, oversee client engagement, and ensure compliance with Avenues' rules and policies, contributing to a warm and positive recovery environment.
Requirements
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
- Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
- Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
- Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
- Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
- Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
