Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Behavioral health, mental health, or human services experience preferred
  • Entry-level applicants with a passion for helping others encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Professionalism and reliability
  • Ability to remain calm during crisis situations
  • Organized, adaptable, and ethical decision-maker
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Nice To Haves

  • Group facilitation or activity leadership experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client admissions and intake processes
  • Monitor client safety, complete required bed checks, and maintain documentation
  • Support daily schedules, treatment goals, and therapeutic activities
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support when needed
  • Observe client behaviors and communicate updates to the treatment team
  • Monitor medication line and assist with client needs
  • Conduct intake and safety searches as required
  • Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards
  • Help train new staff and support unit operations
  • Assist with facility cleanliness and organization
