About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers dedicated to setting new standards in addiction treatment through evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized care. The company offers programs spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. This role involves managing all daily residential operations, including client intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medication management. The Behavioral Health Technician will also train and support the BHT team, escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician, oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment, and ensure compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures for both clients and BHTs.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
