About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician at its Lake Ariel residential facility. The facility provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The role supports daily residential operations, client engagement, and a positive recovery environment while helping ensure clients and staff follow Avenues policies and procedures.

Requirements

• One year of experience in the recovery field.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, empathetic personality and the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the Behavioral Health Technician team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale and maintain a warm, positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and Behavioral Health Technicians comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
