About The Position
Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in their outpatient centers. This role offers an opportunity to grow skills, receive specialized training, and connect with patients. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma plus relevant certification such as medical assistant certification and or Associate's degree combined with substantial relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems (AdvancedMD and SalesForce preferred).
- Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines (a plus).
- Strong clinical interviewing skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided).
- Comfortable standing for long durations.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or any Human Services related major.
- At least one year of work experience in healthcare preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines.
- Meticulously monitor patient responses.
- Administer and record psychiatric rating scales.
- Proactively address patient discomfort.
- Deliver empathetic and supportive care.
- Maintain accurate EHR.
- Manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures.
- Perform regular clinical administrative tasks.
- Take co-pays.
- Engage with patients and providers to provide a positive and smooth patient experience.
