About The Position

J.T. Mummert Consulting, LLC is seeking a part-time Behavior Health Technician (BHT) for its Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Program, requiring 20+ hours per week for the Lock Haven/Williamsport area. The BHT will work with children, youth, and young adults to implement their individual treatment plans under the guidance of a Behavior Consultant. The starting wage is $20.00 per billable hour.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral support to individuals with behavioral health disorders and challenging behaviors.
Implement behavioral interventions as written in the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) and as directed by the Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapist.
Monitor and document client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions.
Report observations and collaborate with the treatment team for adjustment to treatment plans, as needed.
Collect data as directed by the Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists.
Document service delivery using the company’s time tracking system and service notes.
Collaborate with team members to de-escalate challenging situations using the ITP to ensure the safety of clients and team members.
Work closely with licensed clinicians, nurses, teachers, and families as directed by the Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care.
Offer emotional support and encouragement to individuals undergoing treatment.
Support team members in skill transfer through demonstrating interventions, reinforcing team member use of interventions, and fading as progress occurs.
Maintain professional and clinical boundaries with team members.
Submit service documentation as required according to company policies and procedures.
Report to assigned locations as scheduled.
Fulfill client hours as assigned.
