About The Position
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Behavior Technician I to work with individuals living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges residing in their Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) located in Woodbridge, VA. The Behavior Technician I will facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities, provide therapeutic interventions, and assist with personal care. This role involves close collaboration with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities.
- Provide therapeutic interventions.
- Assist with personal care.
- Work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
