About The Position

This role involves supervising Behavioral Health Technicians, ensuring adequate staffing, and overseeing documentation and patient care. The supervisor will participate in treatment teams, implement treatment plans, monitor patients, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities also include crisis intervention, providing emotional support, administrative tasks, maintaining patient confidentiality, assisting with patient living skills and community functions, and basic facility upkeep. Adherence to all regulations, policies, and procedures is essential.

  • Assisting with independent community functions
  • Basic facility housekeeping (laundry, dusting, vacuuming)
  • Compliance with Local, Federal, State, Program and Agency Mandated regulations, missions, values and ethics
  • Adherence to agency policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Directly Supervise all Behavioral Health Technicians
  • Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed with qualified staff
  • Review staff documentation and reporting to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are being followed
  • Participate in Treatment Teams of patients as needed
  • Carrying out individual treatment plans prescribed by medical professionals
  • Monitoring patients and recording your observations
  • Reporting back on each patient's progress and concerns
  • Ensuring patients have a safe and supportive environment
  • Diffusing situations in which patients wish to harm themselves or others
  • Providing emotional support to patients
  • Alerting medical professionals to intervene in emergencies
  • Carrying out assessments and other administrative tasks
  • Maintaining strict patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA and 42 CFR Part 2
  • Transport to medical appointments and community support needs
  • Provide support in completing personal living skills and independent community functions
  • Basic facility housekeeping which may include laundry, dusting, vacuuming maintaining a clean and sanitary condition of the facility
  • Performs job assignments, with attention to and in compliance with the Local, Federal, State, Program and Agency Mandated regulations, missions, values and ethics with a positive attitude
  • Adheres to the agency’s policies and procedures
  • Other Duties as assigned
