About The Position

Clarvida is hiring a part-time Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–24 in home, school, and community settings across Pennsylvania. The role supports clients experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges and promotes age-appropriate independence and stability. Working under the guidance of a Behavioral Consultant, the technician follows personalized treatment plans involving behavioral interventions, skill reinforcement, and family education. The position involves direct work with clients and caregivers, with a focus on reducing dependence on services and providing culturally competent, recovery-oriented care. The position is based in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, and involves community-based and school-based services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid training, or willingness to complete the training.

Responsibilities

Deliver one-to-one behavioral health services to youth ages 2–24 across home, school, and community settings.
Follow treatment plans designed by the supervising Behavioral Consultant.
Promote age-appropriate functioning and skill development.
Set clear boundaries to reduce dependency on services.
Provide parent training and caregiver support.
Offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
Travel daily and document client progress.
