About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital has several openings for dedicated Behavioral Health
Safety Coach to join the behavioral health team. We have openings for full-time
and part-time roles with varies shifts and schedule to include weekends,
evenings and nights generally working 12 hours. We offer a competitive salary

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
• Certifications: Basic Life Support required upon start Vistelar required within 6 Months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Psychiatry, Mental Health and Behavioral Health background
• Prior de-escalation training/experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern.
• Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee.
• Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting.
• Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.
• Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
