Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join their Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) team. The purpose of this role is to teach and support symptom management skills, consistent with the goals and philosophy of Northern Pines Mental Health Center, to assigned adults who have functional impairment due to a mental health condition. Essential functions include providing direct and collaborative rehabilitative services that enable clients to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent and community living skills. These services are delivered through basic social and living skills training (individually or in small groups), community intervention, and medication education (referred to a designated provider). The position involves collaboration with other staff, initiating contact with mutual providers for clients, documentation, and maintaining individual client charts. The role also requires attending meetings, transporting and assisting clients with necessities of life as reflected in the treatment plan, and following the ARMHS method of “do with, not for clients.” The practitioner is responsible for timely documentation, monitoring job-related transportation expenses, and submitting required receipts.
