Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join their Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) team. The purpose of this role is to teach and support symptom management skills to assigned adults with functional impairments due to a mental health condition, consistent with Minnesota's ARMHS guidelines and the center's philosophy. This involves providing rehabilitative services to help clients develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living skills. Services are delivered through basic social and living skills training (individual or group), community intervention, and medication education (referred to a designated provider). The position requires collaboration with other staff and providers, client chart documentation, attendance at meetings, and potentially transporting clients for necessities as outlined in their treatment plan. A key aspect of the role is to assist clients in developing and using coping skills for daily activities, following the "do with, not for clients" approach to foster independence.
